2026 KDLC Candidate Profile Surveys

The Kamloops & District Labour Council is inviting candidates in the 2026 local elections to complete a candidate profile survey as part of the KDLC’s endorsement process. The surveys give candidates an opportunity to share their priorities, experience, and positions on issues that matter to workers, families, and communities throughout the Kamloops district. Responses will be reviewed by the KDLC and may be used to help inform endorsement decisions and communicate candidate information to affiliated unions and their members. The province doesn't post evacuation alerts on Blue sky, just in Twitter, but some notable ones this evening: Spuzzum First Nation, the Village of Clinton and the Gun Lake area all on alerts for different fires. The Gun Lake area was devastated a couple years ago.

Today the Veterans’ crosswalk commentating 100 years of the Royal Canadian Legion was unveiled in #kamloops. As well, Manny Jules presented a beautiful drum he built and hand painted to the Legion for the occasion.
