It’s worth noting that JK Rowling is not only funding meritless legal challenges against trans people until they can appeal up to the court that will back them, she openly gloats about how this is where her money is going. This is what the Harry Potter TV show is bankrolling.

jk rowling funded a case going before the supreme court that argues it should be legal to discriminate against and persecute trans ppl. yet still we have to listen to ‘centrists’ claiming she isn’t bigoted she just has ‘a difference of opinion’. no trans ppl have a voice in these proceedings.

This is VERY important for anyone you know affected by the Los Angeles fires who is currently raising funds on GoFundMe: FEMA does not cover expenses already paid for by other sources. So be careful with how you word your fundraisers—this has affected people who survived other natural disasters.

Writer / Mortal Podkaster / poster of hilarious fake advance screening reactions that would then get run by entertainment sites / great dude @benmekler.bsky.social + his wonderful family lost their home in the Eaton fire. There’s a GoFundMe to help them get back on their feet: gofund.me/7ec6690b

these are far and away the /BEST/ anatomy books out there, this is all you need. They break it down in bite-size, easily-memorize-able chunks. If you want to get better at anatomy, these are it and they're like $15 a pop too

reminder that if you are interested in drawing people and want to get better at proportions and anatomy, I can't recommend enough the MORPHO line of reference books - I have these, as well as the larger in depth skeletal/muscle reference one, and they are absolutely stellar resources

Four book covers from the MORPHO series of reference books. Simplified Forms, Fat and Skin Folds, Muscled Bodies, and Clothing Folds and Creases.

There is a persistent myth that if you work in entertainment - if you've done something people have absolutely heard of or enjoyed - that you must be rich. Actors, writers, producers: rich. The sad truth is most of Hollywood is working class. So when you see a Go Fund Me, there's a reason it exists

Ashley was also head writer on Tales of Arcadia: Wizards and such a supportive and inventive creative leader on the project. She lost her home in the LA fires, and she’s also raising a daughter on her own. Please help if you can.

My friend Ashley lost her home in the LA fires. Most of you only know her as AC Bradley, the incredible writer behind the first two seasons of WHAT IF...? She is among the kindest, most supportive humans I have ever known. If you're a fan of her of her work, please help. gofund.me/587187d7

Folks have done a pretty good job of NOT helping those professional trolls make money here. Just block 'em. Don't dunk. Don't fight. Just block. The silence is the worst thing they can imagine, and many of them eventually give up and go away. Here, I made this for us as a reminder.

Blue image with white text reading "KEEP CALM JUST REPORT & BLOCK" with a white bluesky butterfly at the top. Spoof of the "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON" poster.
