Politics nerd trying to make his way through the world. From Jersey, and you’re not.

If Democrats control the White House in 2031 the commerce Secretary should put a question on the census to ask your pronouns and if you don’t fill it out it doesn’t count

Unironically this is a good thing. Because outside of party sources going “we have a good feeling here” you don’t get to legitimate a particular result until you have every single data point. Like imagining a count in Makerfield for Burnham last month counted like this primary is maddening

it's only possible bc their constituency populations are so strong but i genuinely think the UK does it right by not announcing any results until they've counted everything

Polling in the United States is fundamentally broken insofar as I’m not sure how you’d can trust it by an reasonable measure at this point, and I’m also not sure how you fix the deficiencies causing this since its been a decade and polling still isn’t reliable

Looks like a 10-15 point polling miss in Michigan regardless of who wins. And people have been writing a lot of electability takes using this data. It’s dangerous out there folks be safe

Livingston is also giving Will Lawrence 44% of the vote as Eaton stays strong for Lawrence, and with that I think I have my first call of the night: Will Lawrence will be the Democratic nominee for MI-07
