Randy Herman@randyhermanlaw.com · 53m agoIn a decade or so there will be an influential Mormon Reformed Church that will dominate Salt Lake City politics. It will be female-dominated, moderately left and doctrinally reasonable. Basically the equivalent of Lutherans, Methodists or Reform Jews in other parts of the country.
The twitter chatter about the Fed and the press is just depressing as hell, a lot of blue checks extremely confident about how things work behind the scenes.

People who aren't from Waterloo Region may not be as familiar with Mike, so some local context: I have not witnessed a politician locally who has near universal, cross-partisan appeal at the level he does. If there is anyone who can make the GPC relevant in the national conversation, it's Mike.

Will only become more and more true— one of the many reasons why I don't filter my perception of the Palestine question thru left vs liberal factionalism is because the actually pertinent divide is establishment vs anti establishment. But the establishment is facing immense pressure to concede here.
