the plan is to hit 80% renewables by hooking up "2000MWs of battery solar and wind" which is a fucking lot. But entirely feasible. Btw should be easier and cheaper than pathways and reduce a similar amount of emissions

I do think its kind of undercovered how big the wind energy expansion is in Nova Scotia I think we have something like 2.8 GWs, and we're expecting to break ground on 1.2 GWs of onshore (some fraction of that in practice) by 2028 and calls for bids on leases up to 5 GWs starting this year
