I get that, my sentiment is a mixture of extremes! The other side of it - & this needs explaining too - is that NUFC couldn’t carry on as they were financially. Gordon sale has made them UEFA compliant. Tonali lets them reinvest. Nobody wanted Bruno to go. But they are cutting wages because had to.
Re: Bruno. Love the guy, always a great footballer. It's a short career, & his leaving gives the new bloke more room/money to reshape things. Softens expectations early too. It's a lot to take in. New chapter, lotta risk. Thanks for everything BG #NUFC

We can announce that Eddie Howe has informed the club of his decision to step down as head coach. The club has accepted Eddie’s decision and would like to thank him for his extraordinary contribution.
When Eddie Howe arrived, Newcastle were 19th, winless and staring at relegation. He gave us belief, took us to the Champions League and gave us the best moment of our lives at Wembley. The ending was hard, but the journey can never be erased. Thank you, Eddie. 🖤🤍
On reflection, I’m pleased for Eddie, even though he wouldn’t have wanted to make this step. United are clearly ambling into a difficult season and he’d be the poor sod that would get the flak for it. Given everything he achieved, I’d make a case to say he’s the best NUFC manager in my lifetime.
