Sen. Van Hollen stood 10 toes down shining a light on the horrific expulsion of men to CECOT, the torture prison in El Salvador. He went to CECOT to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man wrongfully expelled, which helped get KAG home. He knows that his platform & power can move public opinion.

It’s so painfully predictable to watch all of the people who most could have stopped Trump announce these things like they had no agency whatsoever. You didn’t get “caught up in” the tsunami, Collins, you helped to create it.
