One of my less popular beliefs is that you aren't serious about dealing with the problem of our big tech oligarchy if you completely disregard capital punishment for C-suites and founders. Thiel, Zuckerberg and Musk are all guilty of treason by any reasonable definition.

Motorcycles are the same way. Sure some people ride to work, but by and large they're toys, and are treated as such. I do see adults riding ebikes around, but way more teenagers riding around on sidewalks.

I think this is largely the result of it being an industry built on recreational cycling and not transit riding.
