There's backlash to the headline being clickbaity and/or whitewashing Rowling's anti-trans legacy, but I'm actually pleased with the full article. Two paragraphs discussing the "support" Rowling gave. The rest? Laying out her ongoing history of anti-trans bigotry and how this doesn't fix anything.

Honestly? Yes, I'm concerned for how this'll affect the livelihoods of average people on both sides of the border. But I'm glad that the feds didn't capitulate to Trump and co.'s ridiculous tariff tantrum. Canada has a lot of work to do on itself, and kneeling to fascists is the opposite of that.

Recently bought a bunch of vinyl and CDs in the Materia Collective summer sale (which is starting to become an annual tradition, lol) and the biggest "problem" is that now I've got all these killer soundtracks for games I've never played and my already-large game backlog keeps growing as I listen. 😅
