Honest question: What's the Democratic solution to this problem? I think they need one because this is likely going to be a problem until Trump's not in office, and nobody's going to be able to put the toothpaste back into the tube.

People don't really realize how wild west the emergency care was in the beginning. You had ER docs on twitter literally talking about they were trying to figure out supportive care on the fly. When should we intubate, when should we use corticosteroids, etc.

I mean I think quality (and ability to perform upkeep) is a real type of “poor tax” but it isn’t like a huge economic effect/ indicator and I think it’s totally possible to keep those two ideas in your head at the same time

And hundreds of billions in debt issued to bankroll construction of massive infrastructure (data centers) to support an experimental product that so far only has marginal usefulness at extremely high costs and seems very vulnerable to any kind of step change improvement in efficiency.
