This is a great example of why you should disable Steam's dumb language filters. Most people are only seeing a random visual novel they never heard about with a couple of reviews. It has over 10,000 reviews. These filters do nothing except lock you in inside a bubble.

I personally hate the word "Anti-Art" described to anything that isn't just ai slop cause folks forget that art isn't a compliment. There is bad art out there. There is boring art. The word is just about somebody's intention.

The graphical overhaul works on me, is the thing. It is impressive to look at, even if I feel weird about the "UE-vibes" style. Then I realize it's all for the exact same play spaces I've seen for almost 30 years and it's sort of a gut punch. All this work to beautifully craft a 1:1 replica. why
I'm sorry to sound so bitter and shitty about this but I'm just like. I'm despondent. This remake looks SO expensive. I can't imagine all the money, hours, blood, sweat and tears that went into it. Nintendo could have taken all those resources and unparalleled artistry and made a new game instead.
I think what the designers are going for with Link's Tunic is a sorta Japanese Raincoat, Mino. They are usually just straws that stick out, but it seems they can be tightly woven to make a more smoother look. The Hat still looks weird ngl
Anway, I'm sorry for all of the Remake talk. I'm not as harsh as I can be cause I know personally that Remake talk can just be annoying. Overall, I don't like it, it just does some decisions I don't vibe with. Still, I won't bore y'all with the "Art is dead, AAA has killed it"
I do like Sheik's design, I think he looks nice, but I do understand why people are upset that he isn't as masc anymore, especially trans Masc & Trans men. Truth is that Nintendo is really bad with gender so it isn't that surprising sadly.
I think someone should tell triple a that it is okay to have contrast in your image, it's better even! I'm somewhat of a realism defender in games, at least on a conceptual level, but recent 'realistic' games have had just terrible contrast, really bad values in the picture.
