This beauty is now out in the world, ready and waiting for you. My story is one among many wonderful spec-fic stories in this book. Stories that "almost didn't make it." Rejection is the norm in publishing. But eventually, we all hope our stories find a good home. This book is one such good home.

TRUNK is now available! Our latest anthology collects stories that took the long route to publication. books.metaphorosis.com/anthology/20...

I just read Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke by @ericlarocca.com - the first thing I've read from him and wow. I loved it. Beautiful prose, disturbing stories. A deep sense of sadness and loneliness permeates each story, each MC. I will definitely be reading more of his work.

What if I told you one woman, with little accountability, is wearing the name of the United Nations to launder false anti-trans forum posts into global legal fights, including the US Supreme Court? Our reporter S. Baum investigates Reem Alsalem in our collaboration piece with The Nation.

How One Woman Is Using the UN to Attack Trans Rights Worldwide

It’s no coincidence that the Supreme Court’s decision allowing trans sports bans echoes the work of Reem Alsalem, the UN special rapporteur on violence against women and girls.

A beloved, rather Twilight Zone-y story of mine, "Please Come Again," is available for pre-order now as part of this awesome anthology of stories that "almost didn't make it." I'm excited to read the whole book! Available from bookshop and amazon.

Coming in August! TRUNK: stories that took the long way A collection of stories that almost didn't make it.

Angered for my trans friends, students, colleagues, and neighbors. Feeling like Cassandra about campaign finance. Citizens United. We told you. Thank GOD that birthright citizenship has been upheld. The four who voted against should retire from the SC.

I tried to save a tiny spider today. It was dry and struggling so I put water on my finger tip. It crawled on and seemed to be lapping it up. But it couldn't stay there, so I added water to a plant on my window sill and placed it there. Maybe its time had come, but it felt like the thing to do.

I’ve been having some personal issues and this book is way behind schedule. Apologies to all involved with the book, and everyone waiting to read it. It IS still happening, and current plan is publish it in a few months. Thank you all for your understanding and patience.
