Y'all. So much of graphic design is just: "Is this readable?" If the text is an appropriate size, with adequate space, margins and contrast from the background, you're halfway there. After that, just please stop jamming so much stuff on one page. Let me breathe.

When Peter tells Wendy “second start to the right and straight on til morning”, this implies that both have been trained on dead reckoning and inertial navigation techniques, although it remains an open question whether the relative motion of the star to the earth is accounted for

A guy once told me a story about an interview he'd seen with a woman who lived to, like, 120 or something. Do you have any regrets? the interviewer asked. "I wish I'd learnt the clarinet," she said. "I mean, even if I'd started at 80… By now..."

The Microwave Cooking for One site is legit useful. You know that thing that happens when microwave food is half frozen? That’s not inherent to the microwave, it’s because most box microwave instructions are for 1100 watts and your microwave is something else. There’s a conversion chart for that!

Microwave Timing Conversion Charts

These charts help you convert cooking times in a recipe to times for your wattage microwave oven.

My father's mother died of colon cancer. My father got it 2x, 2nd time survived the Whipple operation (look it up, it's extreme) for longer than his oncologist had ever seen. My colonoscopies keep finding polyps, removed before they can become cancerous. Colonoscopies are a nuisance. Dying worse.

My mom died of colon cancer. For pete's sake, (as she would have said) get your fucking regular colonoscopy. If you're lucky and your mom didn't die of colon cancer it's only once every ten years. It could save your life.
