Well I for one feel reassured that we aren’t flailing as a nation.

God fucking damn it January 2026 has been a shit year.

Personally I don’t want to go back to any status quo if it means reverting to a system that let a man found guilty of multiple crimes and his idiot sycophants come back into power with even fewer guardrails. Burn it all down and punish the guilty harshly enough that it really means something.

Amoral media groups like Politico are part of the reason that the US finds itself in this horrible societal and political mess. Treating politics like a fucking baseball game where stripping millions of people of their healthcare can mean being “at the top of his game.” Fucking soulless ghouls.

I hate that it's gotten this far, but if countries want to counter a US-imposed trade war, they should make Elon Musk's companies a focus of their retaliation. Those business interests have effectively merged with the US executive branch, and decision-makers value them more than the American people.

U.S. government websites such as the EPA’s and CDC’s are removing any content related to climate change, racial equity, or gender identity. Elections have consequences and this is what voters wanted. All I’ll say is that hiding facts doesn’t make them any less true.

Removing the clinical guidance on PrEP which is 99% effective at preventing transmission of HIV is morally reprehensible. Being able to prevent a disease that ripped through our community in the ‘80s and ‘90s with a single pill is a MIRACLE. I’ve never hated someone as much as I hate Donald Trump.
