I absolutely played with AI before I understood the environmental costs as well as how much of it was trained on stolen data. There is no personal convenience in the world that is worth destroying the planet or cheapening the value of the human mind for.
E.B. Hutchins@ebhutchins.bsky.social · 23h agoBefore I found out the truth of AI machines, I tested them out. I thought it was creepy version of Siri and also redundant bc we already have things like Alexa and Siri to ask questions to (especially when I'm traveling).
