i don't believe talarico is a bigot. im pretty sure he isnt. but if he apparently "has to" answer bad faith questions in a way that appears to compromise on the rights of one group of people being repressed to get elected, it's fair to ask what else he will "have to" do once he's in office

As a Black American, I have always felt that the primary was my real election. Because at the end of the day, America is going to America. So for a candidate to switch up AFTER the primary? To advocate for my harm after agreeing to help me? That is a transgression deserving of punishment.
And what they got in return is what every other marginalized group deemed disposable has gotten. A spineless candidate who will decide that advice from an overpriced conservative think tank posing as a Democratic advisor is more valuable than the people who brought them to the dance.
People are on here talking wild reckless to trans people. And it is very annoying because trans people have done everything they needed to do. They educated the public about candidates who were against civil rights. They pointed people towards viable alternatives. They came through in primaries.

Amazingly, we keep failing these tests. Maybe we'll get it right this time.
One thing I like to remind TERFs is that trans women vote for the bodily autonomy of cis women at a much higher rate than cis women do.
