Our seasonal (and poorly enforced) masking requirement has ended. Staff leaders were like “well staff will be happy about this at least!” And it made me think… they would never ever have seasonal handwashing requirements. Can you imagine? It’s summer, so as a treat you don’t have to wash your hands?

I'm seeing health officials around the world wringing their hands over how to draw lines in the sand regarding isolation/no isolation & length of isolation, depending on symptoms, exposure, etc. Too many variables. Have any of them heard of N95 respirators? They exist precisely for such situations.
