Nice oil tanker you got there. Sure would be a shame if it hit a mine, or if someone's drone just happened to fire a missile into it. Maybe you could pay this very reasonable "environmental fee" and we could see if that might make you feel safer. www.reuters.com/world/middle...

Proposed Hormuz deal would give Iran control of inbound traffic, sources say

A proposed deal between Iran and Oman would give Tehran control over ships entering the Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz, a senior Iranian source and two regional officials told Reuters, in one of th...

Reuters: Iran wants fees of 5%-7% of the price of cargo from ships using the strait; Oman wants 3%. "Making fees voluntary, at least nominally, could be a way out of the impasse, although an implied threat of Iranian attacks could mean shippers would be unlikely to risk transit without paying."

as noted yesterday, Trump has now come around to treating an Iranian toll system covering the Strait of Hormuz as a given. Hard to overstate the level of strategic failure. US started the war purely as a war of choice and ends up dramatically empowering Iran and given the Iranian govt big wins.

He really needs a new crisis management team. No one is buying it. He is not only destroying CBS with alleged promises to Trump to make “changes”at CNN but he is pushing through a thoroughly illegal merger at the cost of Paramounts brand. The film makers are not goint to want to work with them.

David Ellison may think we are stupid, but we know who he is. We know what he has done to CBS. We know what he wants to do to CNN. Support independent media.

The reports coming out of Pakistan-administered Kashmir are deeply disturbing. The alleged use of force against protesters and the communications blackout are unacceptable violations of fundamental rights. All civil, political, and human rights must be respected. (1/2)

Tapper: "There are now three women who have accused you of violent behavior…Are all three of these women who don't know each other lying?" Rep. Max Miller: "Yes…It's all hearsay." Tapper: "It's not hearsay if it is firsthand testimony from women."

In Texas, Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare cleared the meeting room, silencing public opposition to the GOP plan to eliminate half of the battleground county’s Election Day voting locations before the midterms.

Actually disgusting that nurses were treated like utter shit, overworked and dying during the pandemic and now RFK is on TV telling everyone that didn't happen. I can't even imagine a more thankless, hostile job right now.

It was over for Max Miller politically when he said his wife couldn’t have been abused because she offered to make him dinner 6 days later. He may not have known it when he said it, but that was the end. You have to be a sick bastard to come up with that as your defense.

El-Sayed: There is so much more that unites us, however much we might disagree with our democratic opponent, there is so much more that unites us than divides us. And so to all of our supporters here tonight watching on TV—tomorrow, we begin to mend fences.

Fox Propaganda wanted President Obama in jail for ObamaCare and called President Biden a dictator for trying to erase student debt, but haven’t said one word about the orange felon trying to fund Jan 6 terrorists, protecting pedos or committing money laundering. Funny how that works.
