To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center. www.gadgetreview.com/one-of-ameri...
One of America’s Last Chestnut Groves Is About to Be Destroyed for a Data Center
A rare 200-tree American chestnut grove in West Virginia may be cleared for data-center development, but the project denies the site is on its land.

I'm horrifically disappointed to see people hopping into a harry potter art trend after all the heinous garbage jk rowling has done to multiple communities Not so friendly reminder that she's using this as free advertising and you ARE supporting her indirectly for this.

If you can, please order some tea and buy gift cards from Friday Afternoon, and if you're local and you can, please go visit the brick and mortar tea shop as well and purchase some tea there!
Friday Afternoon Tea@fridaytea.com · 2w agoCompany status report, please take time to read. Once again, I've been shouldering all this by myself to a breaking point, but unlike previous times we've been in hot water (lol), we have a clear path to stability with concrete actionable items. FA is the only anti-ai, ACTUAL functional gallery site left on the internet not ruined by algorythmic bs, support if you can
Momma Sciggles@sciggles.com · 2w agoA lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

With many artists trying to get prepped for LBX, I wanted to share this video I have seen on TikTok. Apparently Vista Prints is running materials provided by artists through AI to "enhance" or make "corrections" on art without the artists consent. www.tiktok.com/@kablooeys.k...
