Let me tell you about Russell Brand, as someone who helped the journalists who eventually exposed him. In 2013/4, Brand started to become interested in progressive politics. He said progressive things publicly, went on Newsnight etc. At the time I was involved in progressive grassroots work myself.

The difference in the Mississippi senate race right now is just 43 votes. 96% of the votes counted.

Scott Colom is barely ahead at 48.95% compared to Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith at 48.94%. Colom has 462,821 votes versus Hyde-Smith's 462,778 votes, a difference of just 43 votes. Ty Pinkins has 2% of the vote with 19,935 votes.

If these are anywhere close to right, I’m feeling pretty good about our forecast at p(Dem Senate) = 0.75. might even go up toward 80% after the model processing these polls

Regular contact?! Democrats need to investigate Space Caligula’s Russian communications. In order to hold his security clearance, he has to report these conversations. If he chose to conceal his contacts, his clearances should be revoked.

Putin called Elon Musk a genius and said Russia is in regular contact with him. The US is discussing the return of US oil companies to Russia and lifting sanctions on Russia's government investment fund. Lavrov will be at the G20 meeting in Atlanta this week. There are no words.
