the week after the 2020 Nevada Primary where they were all doing the "I HOPE YOU CRY WHEN YOU'RE FORCED TO VOTE FOR BERNIE" thing was the peak of their political lives and they'll spend the rest of their days chasing that high

I'm sure this will do, uh, terrible things for Democratic Party cohesion.
(1/2) Great news for the Republican Party. El-Sayed, a Communist loser who hates Jews and Israel, is the projected winner in his race with the Socialist. As usual, the Polls were way off on this one. She was not expected to do nearly as well as she did. Now, the Dumocrats crazy
I had assumed this was just funny because it was a heavily Democratic race, but, uh, this is an R+1 district.
Seems like an upset might be brewing in the GOP primary in #MI08 to take on Dem Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet. Trump endorsed Amir Hassan, but he currently trails an absolute nobody who suspended his campaign a month ago by a wide margin.
I don’t think it is possible to misunderstand American politics any harder than this
I don't really have any strong feelings about who should be Michigan's Senate primary winner, but there are a lot of AES supporters who've said some hilariously unwise things over the past couple of hours if it turns out that Stevens wins.
Cori Bush getting annihilated is outstanding for pretty much everyone who cares about effective representation and fewer cranks in congress Also bodes well for the prospect of ejecting other cranks like Chevalier in the next cycle or two IMO
I actually do not agree that anyone should tell the electorate it may vote for someone who is 69 but not vote for someone who is 70 or may vote for someone who is 74 but not 75. In fact, I find the idea offensive.
Pilots have to retire at 65. FEderal law enforcement officers, 57 (with some extensions to 60.) Surely we can agree that people over the age of—70? 75?—should not be allowed to run for federal office.
This has turned the corner and they need him gone by tomorrow.
BREAKING: Following credible allegations of domestic violence, the House Ethics Committee has opened an investigation into Republican Congressman Max Miller.
The second Trump era has, if nothing else, been a good illustration of the idea that the people at the top echelons of society, in finance, law, higher education, politics, etc., are often the most credulous fools you can imagine.
Look, they're not gonna stop doing it until it stops working
All I'm left to wonder is whether John Cornyn might have voted against this nomination if Cornyn had some experience with the rule of law in his background, perhaps as a lawyer or judge.
Todd Blanche doesn't believe in the rule of law. John Cornyn and Thom Tillis don't care. www.lawdork.com/p/blanche-co...
Depicting Jewish people with horns is a centuries-old, dehumanizing, antisemitic trope. Democratic Gov nominee Phil Weiser is outspoken about his mother’s birth in a Nazi concentration camp, his family members killed in the Holocaust, and the threat posed by antisemitism today.
Miller and his lawyer should both be finding a criminal defense attorney, and they shouldn't/can't be the same criminal defense attorney.
Max Miller’s lawyer admits to accidentally releasing ‘private images’ of daughter
in case you were wondering, yes Adbul El-Sayed's campaign is also a PO box
Oops we thought this was Haley Stevens's office
What I don’t understand is WOULDN’T IT BE A RUSH TO DEFY THE PRESIDENT? The crowning achievement of your career. Look the president in the eye and tell him you’re going to cover him without fear or fervor, as he fumes. Journalists should be CLAWING over each other to be the one who does it. And yet.
So late to this but I wonder how many nails the White House Correspondents' Association's coffin needs (from: www.readtpa.com/p/dinner-the...)
Okay, this one makes me livid. What were we supposed to do? My neighbors worked relentlessly, immiserated themselves, suffered immensely to protect my other neighbors. Some even died. Who do you think you are
And they're doing it in ways that make it really hard to get a crowd of people around. Likewise, and no offense, but if we were calculating this like a war... y'all lost thousands of POWs to the enemy in Minny. You saved some with nonviolence, but you lost all those who were taken in front of you.
It's hard to overstate how ISOLATING and scary it was with a child under 5 waiting for that under 5 vaccine. The world was kind of moving on and you not only couldn't, you had to be scared for your child every day
Also the Republicans were screaming that Fauci helped authorize vaccines for children, which is something every goddamn parent I know was praying for every day for more than a year and have been thankful for ever since. These people are all self-centered idiotic sociopaths, nothing more.
The number of so-called progressives on here who are happy to parrot “Muslim Moroccan migrants into Spain are an invading force of Israel,” just because it allows them to maintain “Israel is bad” as the highest political principle of all, is really dismaying!
Looking forward to seeing Ohio's Republican senators -- the one currently running for re-election and the one currently running away from his daughter's allegations of abuse -- respond to this Max Miller address.
Anyone who has worked with domestic violence victims know the answer to this is too often yes.
These guys won’t stand up for the daughter of a Republican US Senator and they’ll never stand up for your daughter. But they will send some goon to inspect her crotch.
Max Miller is denying all the allegations against him and you can tell he's sincere because of the popped collar.
I think the D.C. Superior Court deserves an explanation as to why the explanation it was given for the reason the prosecution isn't proceeding isn't matching the public statements by the President and the Secretary of the Interior.
Oh my. Pirro v Burgum is on people. (Cannot see how they both stay in their jobs)
When New Yorkers see a dumpster they start jumping and hooting like the apes in the beginning of 2001: a space odyssey
if you had to play lionel messi in one game, but you got to choose the game, you absolutely wouldn't choose soccer. bringing guns to protests is like choosing soccer.
Guys, the best weapons to protect your neighbors from ICE are NOT GUNS They are CAMERAS, WHISTLES, and a well-organized RAPID RESPONSE AND NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH SYSTEM. ICE is better-armed than you'll ever be. But they like to rely on secrecy, and you can make it much harder for them to be secret.
Get used to it, every leftist is going to be saying it for the rest of time. "Jews control the world" is progressive now.
This is the kind of person I wouldn't have even considered blocking before this week who I am now presumptively going to block.
I would not be the least bit surprised if this motion is withdrawn by tomorrow. I think Trump is going to order DOJ to withdraw this concession and keep prosecuting Hearn, and I'll bet they're going to find someone to do it.
The Justice Department is admitting that a $14 million renovation on the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, was flawed, and is dropping the criminal case against a former Olympian that accused him of damaging the pool, according to a new court filing. https://cnn.it/3RJJnwj
That explanation is, to put it mildly, inconsistent with a dismissal without prejudice. In my view, that alone is potentially grounds for sanctions.
FLASH: Justice Dept seeks to dismiss Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool criminal case against former Olympian David Hearn Trump Admin acknowledges: "Damage to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in June 2026 was the result of flawed installation by the contractor"
