If you're ever thinking about speaking up on trans people's behalf but are worried about getting the terms right, I think most of us would prefer a true ally who speaks clumsily to someone who sees our community's vernacular as jargon to learn in order to put us in our place.

Many people seem to think the word "exploitation" in exploitation of labor just means when the workers are treated actively poorly in a workplace, as opposed to having the value of their labor siphoned by owners. They offer what they think are counter arguments of companies that treat employees well

Plenty of non-Christian faiths, & even some Christian sects, don't hold with that belief. I'd have liked to see John Oliver address that. @theradr.bsky.social for instance has written and spoken quite often about the fact that "life beginning at conception" is in simply NOT what Judaic law teaches.
