[Benoit Blanc during a Reacher Christmas episode crossover] Listen, son, I myself am of the conviction that violence is the crude weapon of an incurious mind, but I will admit that my gigantic friend here makes the most convincing argument I've yet heard on the virtues of expediency through force.

Happy 58th anniversary of the party Joan Didion gave to celebrate the publication of Tom Wolfe’s The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, at which Otto Preminger dropped acid, Harrison Ford and record label boss Earl McGrath got wrecked and played living artworks, and 13-year-old Griffin Dunne watched... 🧵

So: have just seen Coyote vs. Acme And yes, a really good film about litigation - actually one of the best films I have seen about practical litigation. As well as a really good film generally. May write it up if there’s enough interest.
