Found a pub that has a board games library and a mini Warhammer/independent games store upstairs. Three ales on tap, good food and not ruinous. It might possibly be the Best Pub Ever.

Sad to hear that Jabba the Hutt got strangled by one of his captives. He was very generous in inviting me to his sail barge parties and he always held the held the room. He was outspoken and combative at times, but he had a sense of humour and infectious laugh.

Reminds me of the on The Other Place when I posted a screen cap - with their permission - of my colleague's holiday request that simply said 'ELDEN RING'. I even made the 'F*** You I Quit' account because apparently you can't get holiday approved over there unless your family is dying or some shit.

Finally introduced the kids to Hero Quest tonight. The Sprout went with the Elf and the Spud with the Barbarian (very apt for the latter, tbh). Many monsters were slain.

Last night I attended the cast and crew screening of Rogue Trooper by Duncan Jones. It was utterly incredible. I don’t know the franchise and had no clue what it was about , even though I recorded a very short voice sequence used in the film. I can honestly say it’s an amazing movie.
