I love how one out of every hundred cans of Ecto Cooler contains pure ectoplasm and will make your dream the nightmares of ghosts.

Wendig wrote one that sunk its trauma-fangs into my leg and refused to unlatch until I woke from his nightmare. Veiled in the shadows of Pennywise's red balloon with some definite Backrooms energy, it's wholly original, entralling, and—ultimately—devastating. Read it.

I don't get out to quite as many events these days, but—when I do—I make 'em count. Quality over quantity. Here are all the fun goings-on in the next 9 months or so, including the big release of NODS ROTTEN on December 6th... 👀
Kat is a perfect example of why excluding self-published authors from the accolades afforded to others is a really, really dumb practice.
Going to lengths to exclude self-published authors from lists, awards, and more is becoming dated and is upsetting for those of us who put as much work as a small publisher. There are plenty of us out here who do not engage in use of generative AI and who are writing compelling speculative fiction.
Submitted my next book to my publisher for edits and revisions today. Feels good.
Highly recommend seeing a movie and then reading all day.
It's here! The cover to my upcoming novel, *Precipice of Nowhere,* is finally revealed! *Precipice of Nowhere* will be released in OCTOBER by Torrid Waters, a division of Crystal Lake Publishing.
Excited to share that I'll be returning to AuthorCon in March. Can't wait.

This photo from The Cryptic Book Lair—a reader from Sweden—is exactly how I like to see my books displayed: cloaked in shadow.
Today's impulse buy. Not sure how this was meant for "Ages 8 and up" but I guess 1989 was a wild time.
OK - I know I've neglected social media for a while but it's good because I've been writing my tail off and living life away from the screen. I'm still here and will be sharing updates on my upcoming title NODS ROTTEN, as well as deets on future events, much more frequently. Stay tuned, friends. 😎
hey, it's FRIDAY! happy whatever-it is-that-you're-doing-or-working-on, friends.

every nice human deserves to have a wonderful song written about them
the click that fountain coke machines make when you press them is a great click. probably one of the best clicks
I didn't even get an invite to my cat's coronation ceremony. After everything I did to facilitate her ascension.
The reason you never see Tom Cruise in a horror movie is because he is the bar when it comes to film running. You would never see him completely eat it at a full sprint, the killer wouldn’t stand a chance.
Wondering why you should write now with the world the way it is? Have you taken time recently to read a book? Was it a welcome relief? A moment of calm? Of normalcy? Sure it was. That's why you need to write, so your book can be that for someone else. And, of course, you do it for yourself too.
