Nashville would be a better city & Tennessee a better state if the inner loop highways were removed. -Valuable land freed up to become productive (More sales tax for state, more property tax for the city) -Street connectivity restored. Good for all modes of traffic -Thru traffic uses outer loops

Can only imagine closing lower Broadway to car traffic would have a similar effect. Businesses often benefit much more from active transportation like walking and biking than from car traffic

This is abundantly true for Davidson County. If you’re a progressive in nashville you should be banging down the doors for abundant housing so every queer kid in the entire state of Tennessee knows they can move here and be a few degrees more protected.

People do not want to engage with the difficult task of driving because it is exhausting and they’re only doing it because they lack other options. Watching vertical videos while you sort of operate a motor vehicle is less exhausting.
