the problem these people have can be boiled down to a simple binary: (a) they look down on every person on earth but (b) they are the lowest of all people on earth. they venerate "civilization" but themselves are wholly uncivilized. sanctimonious and judgmental, criminals and antisocial scum
it's so fucked up in so many ways including the many times where it's like "haw haw you will be so miserable being deported to this hellhole full of mud people" and then the people there actually show them humanity and compassion not possessed by us americans

This working mom of 2 has been trying to get her family's SNAP benefits reinstated for months but keeps getting caught in the added red tape. She’s cut back her own meals to make sure her kids get enough. These are the people this administration claims were "lifted" off SNAP.

The right has a longstanding tradition of shoving sources in your face (the Bible, the Constitution, etc.) to justify their worldview that they also absolutely refuse to read in full or see how these sources indict their own behavior, and it's not stopping now.
