It seems that some cis Labour cheerleader who thinks the PLP is ‘salvageable’, just because 92 of them signed the EDM, doesn’t like facing the truth of just how shitty they have been towards us in the two years since coming to power.

So many people on the left who should know better are being taken in by the 'feels'. Burnham is implementing hard-edged discriminatory policies against trans people and immigrants, is taking away SEND funding and has rejected rent controls. But you do your 'feels'...

a bit perplexing to me that the Guardian, our liberal paper of record hasn't seen fit to mention the biggest rollback in LGBT rights in half a century in their profile of the minister in question, when considering her career. (I well know the Guardian's history of transphobia, it's still striking!)

In what will be a surprise to no one, I will also be joining my union comrades boycotting womens conference. It is a betrayal of Labour values and frankly I’m both disappointed in Labour’s stance and in the unions including my own union Unite who have decided to attend.

After 17 and a half years today is my last day working in the NHS. I've worked under 12 Health secretaries. Every single one made it harder for us to look after patients and pursued an agenda of privatisation and outsourcing. The NHS thrives in spite of, not because of it’s political leadership.
