Literally getting crushed between philosophy and religion here.
i don't like to police genre, but it's not dark academia unless somebody gets squished in one of these bad boys
Of all the things to admit on the internet, “I don’t know how bananas work” is one of the funniest
Spoken like a man who has never had to shop for himself.
No one should face exclusion or discrimination because of who they are. The Green Party stands in solidarity with the trans community and will keep fighting for equality that includes everyone.
Oh this is sad. The comedy festival is a really big deal round here. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

The government’s transphobic statutory guidance is now up and running – we’re fighting back

Pubic Service Announcement The Vagina Museum is trans inclusive. Always has been, always will be. Today the new EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect. Let us be clear, the guidance changes nothing about how we operate.
The Tories have selected a convicted former Neo-Nazi as a councillor. Here's why that reflects very poorly on Jeremy Corbyn.
I think what this article does most of all is demonstrate how 'don't speak ill of the dead' is just another tool of oppression: A social convention/mechanism designed to force people to hide their truths and experiences of another when it is not convenient or palatable for those wielding power.
They linked to me in that Telegraph article about Rod Liddle ffs. I didn't even warrant a name, just 'transgender activist'. At least they called me 'he'. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/08...
I would have thought that the dead were the most safe from criticism. Couldn't get much safer, really.
I was wondering why I’d got 19 clickthroughs from The Daily Telegraph…
Happy Segregation Day everyone! Today will eventually go down in history as an infamous mistake and breach of human rights but not before it's caused huge amounts of pain and trouble. This Government will be remembered as the worst for trans rights ever, as bad as Thatcher's Section 28 if not worse.
Do try to remember that the EHRC guidance only affects service providers and not employment, so if you work somewhere where there are toilets or changing rooms for employees that aren’t open to the public then your employers are wrong if they try to stop you from using facilities for your gender

My train is running 13 minutes late. Might stand in the door for two minutes when it arrives to nudge it into Delay Repay territory.
Have specifically not listened to #r4today on my drive this morning to avoid inevitable glowing tributes to a racist, transphobic, misogynist, child-fancying woman-beater. Instead I have treated half of the M1 to the Soup Dragons’s Lovegod played very loudly. Not listened to it in years. Banger.
I’ll take that. www.maptap.gg August 4 100🎯 94🏅 91👑 100🎯 92🏆 Final score: 952

Been thinking a lot about this lady given the discourse today. She knew where it was at.
#TodayInQueerHistory August 3 (1614) According to some sources, today is the day that James I/VI met George Villiers. They met at an event at Apethorpe Manor in Northamptonshire. 21 year old George was dancing and James was struck by his graceful movements and handsome legs. The rest is history.
#TodayInQueerHistory August 2 (1977) Hal Fischer's Gay Semiotics is displayed for the 1st time at his 1st solo show, at the Lawson de Celle Gallery in San Francisco. The piece explores the visual language of the gay community. It's a celebration of identity. He pops up in MuseumBums and Hotties 🥰📚
Wine. It’s been a wine day. Problem is it’s going to be a wine day tomorrow too. And I’m supposed to be not drinking too much. I need to retire.
i’m never gonna be able to fire a cruise missile yet the question of using my tax dollars for them has never been up for debate
Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.
