There’s a story out in the last few days about someone on clozapine who died of clozapine toxicity because briefly stopping smoking increased his body’s absorption of it. It’s a horrible story and highlights some really huge gaps and conflicts in psychiatric practice - eg there is a HUGE push to get

I've now looked at the thesis a bit and some of Arday's explicit acknowledgements to Zwozdiak-Myers seem to have been overlooked, e.g. this one, where he clearly acknowledges the whole section was generated partly from her work. This is at odds with the impression given from the allegations.
When work aligns with corporate interests much greater sins than this are entirely forgiven and unremarked upon by the press. They have been desperate to construct a "DEI hire not up to scratch" story here since the US press did their version

There is evidence of copying passages which should be corrected; but I think this is very common, its just that nobody notices or complains if you're white. Solidarity with Jason.

my favourite thing to do when analysing transcripts is to copy and paste important quotes into a separate document and not include any details about where they're from. don't wanna be able to find that shit later! #ResearchTips
