3 Sept 1804 // 68-gun ship of the line Admiraal de Ruijter was captured from the Dutch in 1799 and became HMS De Ruyter. She was used by the Royal Navy for transport and harbour service, and was also fitted out as a prison ship. From 1801 she was in use as a storeship on the Jamaica station. [1/4]
