6/ The fun part: one mouse on day 10, doing what we call circling. We reconstructed the kinematics in 3D. Centripetal acceleration oscillated and occasionally exceeded 1g. A mouse running for fun, briefly making its own gravity. Maybe @talmo.bsky.social can post the video....
Context: Rodent Research-1 flew mice to the ISS in 2014. Cage cameras were for health checks, not behavioral science. Decades of this footage exists. Almost none has been analyzed with modern tools. #Spaceflight
