Insurance finally made a decision. They estimated 15k worth of damage and repairs need to be done. My claim only covers up to 10. So they pay that out, wipe their hands of it and I'm left to figure everything else out myself.

My sewage pipe backed up this weekend and flooded my basement. Even if insurance covers it I have to come up with $1000 for a deductible.
