The young voters who elected Mayor Mamdani have lagged way behind in early voting counts this month. If you want to do the mayor a solid and replace the status quo in Congress with new progressive energy, Election Day is tomorrow from 6a-9p. Check your poll site at vote.nyc and remind your friends.

Hey, look at Substack promoting Andrew Tate as the #1 new bestseller. The company's amoral leadership & backers will platform anyone, even ludicrously toxic rapists & human traffickers.
Letter to the editor: Bard College President Botstein’s continued leadership is no longer tenable
Bard College President Botstein’s continued leadership is no longer tenable - The Berkshire Edge
When someone has held power for nearly half a century, it can become easy to confuse longevity with legitimacy, or position with immunity. But tenure is not a substitute for trust.

Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace.

Leon Botstein told the Bard Community that Leon Black donated $250,000 after they met in 2012. Yet, this email isn’t from Leon Black. It’s from Jeffrey Epstein. For the same amount, during the same time period Botstein said. So who really donated to Bard? And why try to hide it?
Botstein invited a known pedophile to a high school he oversaw. How can he possibly survive this?

Cool that people are covering this again. Would be cooler if they’d bothered to read any of the existing work on it (i.e., you know, mine) before getting basic stuff wrong.
Revealed: How Substack makes money from hosting Nazi newsletters
I am a Simon’s Rock alum, I have been trying to reach out to my contacts in admin about this and I haven’t had any response @musicologyduck.bsky.social
I have it on good authority that the Bard administration is simply trying to not acknowledge the pressure including that coming from its own student community, as they did in 2019
You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.
personally I think if a story about an illegal war and kidnapping leaks to you should publish it.
NEW: Plans for secret U.S. raid to capture Maduro leaked to the Washington Post and New York Times before it happened, but both decided not to publish to protect U.S. troops - Semafor
Rubio "Cuba is a disaster. It's run by incompetent, senile men." As Trump tries to stay awake.
I saw someone letting his little dog poop right in front of the door to a Wendy’s on Third Ave in midtown this morning and I almost shouted “Sir, this is a Wendy’s!!!”
Well, it's a little clearer now why billionaires are so invested in technology that produces better written emails.
The election Nazi tattoo guy wants to run in isn't until November 2026, maybe people defending him including but not limited to Bernie fucking Sanders could devote their time to finding a candidate without a Nazi tattoo. That they kept for 20 years knowing it was a Nazi tattoo.
I threw the sandwich But I did not do a felony 🎶
A Nazi owns Twitter, right wing billionaires own the Wall Street Journal and the LA Times, and CBS is run by a right wing nepo baby who just fired one of the network’s biggest stars for criticizing Donald Trump. Here’s why America has a left-wing media bias problem.
Publish it again. Every journalist who has published Epstein stuff before should just publish it again.
Every Republican who goes on the Sunday shows tomorrow should be pressed to denounce this illegal and authoritarian proclamation from the president. And none of this "I didn't read the tweet" bullshit.
I don’t care if he doesn’t back this up with further action, in a normal time, this is a major scandal, showing the president of the United States has nothing but contempt for the first amendment, basic rights, and his fellow citizens and will act accordingly in various ways.
I almost can't believe that Elon Musk's AI called for the extermination of the Jewish people yesterday, and today not a single Congressional Democrat announced they were leaving his media network. A party that often claims to act against antisemitism didn't do jack shit about straight up Nazism.
I understand most people don’t want to leave X because that’s where most other people still are. That just means that it’s a collective action problem; it can be overcome with organizing that brings people together towards non-cooperation. If we can’t even get off X, how can we stop fascism?
weird that jamelle pointing out that the reporters didn't do their due diligence and were platforming a eugenicist violates social media standards
I deleted several posts about a Times story because they violated Times social media standards.
