Sites be like: you have to have a passkey and then every possible way of setting one up isn't available on my PC and also is entirely unfathomable to me. Is anyone else finding this too hard or am I just a fucking idiot? I've always been the person who can do computers and this is pissing me off.
My teenage sons hardly read at all and I did all the things - read to them every night for years, modelled reading for pleasure to them, took them to the library regularly, filled the house with books.

A new and exciting AI use case I came across this week was that Meta have changed the way you can search your business's product catalogue within its commerce back-end (hi to the people who put me on "does not understand AI" lists, presumably to make it quicker to turn up and tell me AI is lovely)..
I just remembered that there was a free chocolate bar in my hotel room and I meant to bring it along when I checked out yesterday but forgot. What a wasted weekend.

If you're doing niche work in a very wide field then conferences are pretty important for finding people who can make use of, build on or complement what you're working on so there's even the tiniest hope that your work will end up having a practical application in the real world.
