Shameful @calmatters.org misreporting that further foments the unwarranted e-bike scare. The real safety crisis is driving, especially speeding and distracted driving. Would love to see media and lawmakers spend even half the energy on ending traffic violence as they are on restricting e-bikes.

The teen driver who was found at fault failed to yield when exiting a parking lot, cut off the ebike rider then sped onto the sidewalk across the street. Your piece doesn’t refer to the driver at all, only the “SUV”.
