Currently stalled (ugh) self-published writer. Star Trek posts aplenty, some lefty politics (social democrat) & whatever the heck else occurs to me. No DMs.
By the time this merger ruins HBO, destroys WB, gets 5,000 people fired, moves production overseas, and guts the quality of the movies the new studio makes, most people will have forgotten how fast the AGs caved and how little they got in this deal. Writers will not.

A figurine of a hartebeest, made of flint, found in a cemetery at Hierakonpolis. It dates to the Naqada II period, 3650–3450 BC. The Naqada culture was a Chalcolithic Predynastic Egyptian culture. Hierakonpolis is a major site for studying this period. On display at Neues Museum Berlin. 📷 me 🏺

Amid all the dread over another AfD victory in East Germany, at least I get to do some schadenfreude scrolling over Merz's CDU probably failing to reach parliament. Not that it'll make Merz or the CDU stop their copycatting the AfD in hatred, punishing the people to favor the rich. Still. Eff CDU.
