really into this guy who krumps to various songs while singing said songs a cappella
I don’t know why we have to single out the evil Canadians here… I’m sure the good and neutral ones have thoughts too. And why doesn’t chaotic/lawful enter into it? (I agree, this is Bad)
Americans really don’t understand how evil Canadians view this rhetoric. We think it’s just “Trump being Trump” and trolling for lulz, but Lutnick here is threatening the sovereignty of our closest ally and biggest trading partner. This is a catastrophe, not easily remedied.
My parents have been cleaning out their house so I’ve absorbed a few pieces of art, which is really lovely. And also this thing I made in 1st grade.

Anyway if you want more reading on this—this is something the Black Tabby Games team and I chatted about.

Some very high profile mid-sized studio crashes of the last 3 years feel like they were because their business models weren’t based on making successful games, they were based on securing funding. The product was the potential game, not the released ones.
So many game studios struggle to pay the bill with game revenue—even with a commercially successful game they keep the lights on through externally funding the next game. We’ve built a very stupid system for moving money around in this industry!!!
wait how is PEAK not in the survival crafting fest on steam??? yea it doesn't have crafting but we overindex on that--crafting isn't key to survival design and that's the best survival game to come out in years imo... the health/stamina/status bar is so gd smart, I'm in awe of it every time I play
I made two games on this list! That feels pretty good! They're also both on sale on Steam in the PvE Survival Crafting Fest, so if you haven't played Don't Starve or Pacific Drive, check that out (as well as the other fantastic games on this list) gamerant.com/best-single-...

Possible first party @buttplug.io support coming soon to Pacific Drive?
You CAN fuck the car
Also this week: need some therapy after carpal tunnel surgery and I searched for the speciality on my insurance’s website. 1 result. One! Spent the last two days calling misc numbers provided by my doctors and asking if they take my insurance—most did, but some didn’t have availability til Oct
Next they’ll be arguing that you need to submit a form 27b/6 on a weekly basis to keep anything you’ve purchased. Bad, Brazil-ass world they’ve made!
imho it’s bad that it seems to be metaphysically impossible to stay employed by a video game making corporation under death spiral capitalism
I got this TV for free from a (admittedly not very friendly) dumpster outside of an abandoned motel, it was being rained on so I thought it was a goner, but nope! Still works just fine. Pacific Drive looks great on it!
For my newest video I took people's assumptions about game development and... addressed them! Including why crunch actually happens, how much money game developers make, and the unique way that making games 'ruins them' for you: youtu.be/WnfKzdTUjtw?...
I fear we have misunderstood game development

the thing about indie games is that if someone designs one single game I love, I’ll get whatever they make for the rest of their lives and pretty much always have a good time. people are so attached to ip but imo you really gotta know the creators.
Listening to a basketball podcast and I recently finished watching Foundation and I think instead of referring to players being in their prime, being young, etc, we should just say they’re in their Dawn, Day, Dusk eras
