This video is making the rounds, which is great! Some of the Youths haven't seen it, and it's incredible. Tandi Iman Dupree died 4 years after it was filmed, at just 27, of complications of AIDS. She should be alive today. Celebrating queer history is also a reminder of the ongoing need to fight.

Except it's one of the most iconic scenes in movie history and all of it, The groundbreaking CGI, the sweeping John Williams score *doesn't* work without the authentic joy and wonder of Neill's performance
you can really tell how AI is a great and beneficial thing by how deeply every company buries the ability to turn that shit off
