Today is the last day our most awesomest City Council rep will be in office - she & her wife-to-be bought a house that's 1 block outside our Ward, so she has to step down. I haz a sad. I hope her replacement is even half as good as she's been.

My theory: survival stories and true crime are actually photo negatives of each other, because in true crime, someone's dead who should be alive, and in survival, someone's alive who should be dead, and in both cases you're trying to figure out why
