Every elected official does this. In many cases the elected officials you regard as ideological and policy mediocrities are quite good at it, which is why they’re handily releected. Also, well-known, publicly recognizable figures who spend a lot of time in media are often bad at it.

Have dedicated staff at their offices to help people navigate Medicaid or getting their paperwork for voting or getting food assistance. Is it illegal?
Because there is never an upside to a teen having access to liquor but there is an upside to a teen having access to information and community away from repressive or abusive parents and guardians
