Saw Backrooms last night and I loved it! Tight script, gorgeous sets, and so fun. It's a beautiful direction for the genre and I'm already itching to see it again—it was such a visual feast! I can't wait to hear what others think.

Really enjoyed Hokum! Solid scares, fun set. That said, what a rotten theatre experience. I had to ask a lady to put her phone away because she was thrashing through 50 apps every few minutes. If you cannot stay off your phone for 1h40m, your brain is fucking cooked. Stay home.

Just finished reading Yesteryear and fuck. Sometimes funny, but often incredibly dark story. Finishing it feels like when I first read Conner Habib’s Hawk Mountain. Both very good works worth reading.

Readers! What is the last book you loved by a trans author? And what is something you loved about it?

I am begging audiobook producers to add Author Acknowledgements to the end of audiobook recordings!! I just finished an audiobook that had interesting autobiographical context in the acknowledgements that I'd never known about if I hadn't gone hunting for it because it wasn't part of the recording.

instead of watching the new harry potter trailer, why not pick up some horror books by trans and nb writers for the trans rights readathon?? there are so many good options. For example, check out some of these writers:
