Adding to this, potatoes are a great filler (startches!) and easy to make sides with. Ground turkey is pretty cheap, and you can find it flavored similar to Italian sausage and it tastes identical. (Same with just plain being similar to ground beef.)

Creator/developer of Paint .net suddenly trying to push AI into the app and then crashing out at the backlash sucks. This app is so good its incredibly disappointing and also really weird to find out the dev isn't an artist in any capacity lol. For now it seems optional but just all trust lost.

Alien of the Day: The Gungans from Star Wars! Despite being maligned due to writing and tone issues in the films, the designs by Terryl Whitlatch I find very charming. The species worked better in animation, such as The Clone Wars series, where their slapstick played out more effectively.
