BY THE WAY If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2. There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security. Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation." TURN IT OFF.

This is such an excellent article about what’s at risk if we let fanfic become absorbed by traditional publishing. Fanfic is fantastic and should be celebrated, but part of what makes it so powerful is that it’s art for art’s sake, not profit.
