Because that's precisely what the "Any Human Ever" thing I've seen loads of you – including some who are usually scathing about generative AI – is.
If you only read the NY Times (or the NY Post or Wall St. Journal) you would have no idea PIT Crew existed. I know its not the sexiest story, but these are well-resourced media institutions nominally covering their home city in depth. Its a substantive story about govt that they won't cover.
Sometimes big accounts on here will do the edgy "pro bullying" stance claiming they are "standing up for norms" but, idk, i don't think the guy who sleep tortured me in boy scouts was doing that. I think the bullies are actually the ICE thugs brutalizing others and I don't wanna be them

Ryan Van Loan @ryanvanloan.bsky.social · 3w agoYea we had a local teen create an anti flock group and galvanized both libs and conspiracy nuts in the community - turns out the cameras aren't flock and are used to review accidents - no AI and data deleted every 30 days. The conspiracy group won't believe it and it's been a shit show.
"Do I like the community of people that engages with the content creator" used to be a good sign of whether you would engage long term for a variety of reasons. In an internet where more and more stranger interaction may be ai phantom I worry this will change or won't change for bad reason
