In his live video, Max Miller stated that the allegations only stemmed from his ex-wife. Wrong. There are allegations that he: - Threw a girl down the stairs in high school - Was expelled from college for a violent incident involving a female student - Abused his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Grisham
Those who believe things like this are working hard at not understanding the finite options available to someone whose abuser has not been prosecuted, found guilty, etc. by the law. And how rarely those things happen to abusers, esp. high-status white male abusers.

I am 53 and have been essentially forced into retirement. I thought it was just me, until I found an entire community of women in the same situation on Instagram. So many of us have just been told that we simply have nothing to contribute to society anymore.

Ho@karenho.bsky.social · last wk.I keep thinking about how often the mass layoffs in media, government and big companies, especially women and people of color, will lead to poorer outcomes for years because the people who would point out potential problems or blind spots were deemed non-essential, a "bad fit", and/or too expensive.
It’s important to note in this moment that the attacks on the LGBTQ community are global in nature. My heart goes out to the victims at Berlin Pride.
