More than half of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Starbuck's CEO took home $31 million - 1,794 times more their median worker. Live Nation's CEO made $33 million - 976 times the median pay. The system has been rigged against the working class, but the Fair Share Tax starts to change that.

When I set out to fact check “The Cities That Said Yes to Drugs” which argues that harm reduction may increase overdoses, I expected some cherry picking and misdirection. But not to find basic math errors and debunked right wing talking points asserted as fact in the Atlantic’s print edition.

Of course, sometimes it IS appropriate in Apocalypse World to use "acting under fire" when you're cooking a meal. For instance, when someone's shooting at you while you cook. When somebody's shooting at you while you cook, I think it's okay for a 7-9 to be a kind of failure instead of a success...
