Draw Steel is a heroic game, so I want players to use it to interrogate what kind of hero their characters are. do you save everybody, even when they’re saying it’s impossible? Does “everybody“ really mean everybody, or just the people you like or the people who are easy to save

The hero’s engaged the undead guardians and debated the strategies of focus fire on the dame, remove the annoying minions or steal the cup. The answer turned out to be “yes” with the dame being dropped when one minion was left, and the shadow was halfway down the stairs with the cup. 😂 #drawsteel

Final form of the map, thank you @dmchuck.bsky.social for the heads up on the xl dungeon kit. Made a last minute update (the raised platform) to rush some changes in. Can’t wait to see how the players will ruin all the undead’s plans to stop them. 2 hours till they draw steel.

Note the blocks of stairs comes with little stands so you can place your minis on them. Though often they can get knocked off. Today i drilled holes in them and added a 3mm magnet which since i have all the minis on bases with magnets for conditions. Much more secure. #drawsteel

Had such fun in #DrawSteel last night. Entering the ruins of a collapsed Lighthouse built on top of an ancient forge, magically animated suits of armor & Servitor War Walkers spring to its defense. I LOVE my Berzerker Fury. I threw a War Walker through a pillar destroying both War Walker & pillar!

Another thing I finished just in time for the convention...I finally made another one of these diarama d20s! This is the third one I've made, but the first that has been publicly available.

An oversized d20 in a floating frame display case. The die has a 3d printed and painted miniature version of the Master Sword in its pedestal surrounded by green grass flocking. The gold numbers are shrunken into the corners so it doesn't block the view of the sword.

Just helped my Director put the finishing touches on a short 6-victory Adventure for #DrawSteel tonight. Went through the rulebook step-by-step following guidance on EV cost, dynamic battlemaps, montages, negotiations, environmental storytelling, etc. Its gonna be amazing!
