Beira's Place was literally founded because Rowling was outraged that existing rape crisis services weren't formally refusing employment and services to trans women. Transmisogyny is literally the purpose for which it was founded. It has no reputation to damage.

A perfect example of why Westminster will never let Scotland leave the Union and opposes another independence referendum so strongly. We're not an equal partner and haven't been for a long time, we're just a land of resources which they keep stealing from us.

The world is literally burning and Burnham wants to open up more drilling. Climate change is not a hoax, billionaires would have you believe differently but they’re able to escape from the reality that YOU are unable to.

The UK government has to declare an emergency incident first, and I doubt our new PM could find the Highlands on a map.

Why do I fight for human rights? Human rights are crucial for people to live a happy and long life. Erossion of human rights causes immense harm and human suffering. This is something I cannot and will not ever allow to pass without me pushing back and saying NO!

You can visit many small villages in the UK and find traces of a decommissioned railway. Almost like we had universal transport sorted by the 1950s and decided everything was worth binning for the car.
It's all very well and good cutting 45 quid pf electricity bills and making (single) bus fares slightly cheaper, but FOOD COSTS 50% MORE THAN IT DID 5 YEARS AGO.
Of course we almost abolished rough sleeping during the pandemic. When the need is there, we can do things that we pretend are impossible. It's about priorities.
