You're gonna say that I'm on a high horse, I think that my horse is regular sized 💚Romantic anti-capitalist💚Don't use my posts for your article. (She/they)🌈

It actually breaks my heart to be the only person masked on a flight with several very elderly and disabled people on it. 💔 Looking after each other is leftist praxis pass it on.

“The Electoral Commission has told staff to turn away voters who aren’t on the printed roll and who say they’re unenrolled, but has no plans to count how many people will be affected.” So nice to see democracy in action, nothing to worry about here, love NZ’s accessible and clear election process.

The Opposition says people who think they're not enrolled should lodge special votes rather than being turned away from voting entirely.

The only reason BlueSky is a thing is that it gave people fleeing Nazi Twitter a plug-and-play place to reconnect with the people and formerly good parts of Twitter they enjoyed without turning every conversation into an edge lord fight club of bigotry.

Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

I dont know if they knew what neurodivergent was in the 70s, I sure didnt, and I didn't know that I was until last year. I couldn't tell you how many times i got caned in school, but it was in the many hundreds, it didnt fix me, but it made me fucking hate school. This is a very bad policy.

This policy would directly lead to physical abuse of disabled and neurodivergent children. Tell your friends. I'm absolutely serious.

Ahahahahahaha a 2 panic attack day. My god being out in the world is scary. But we have tickets to Dropout and we are going to have so much fun once we get there. Just gotta get there. Had to bail on dinner with mates because it was too crowded 😭.

We messed up! During a segment earlier this week about the risks of artificial intelligence, we shared a quote purportedly by author Naomi Klein that was itself AI-generated. She joined us on today's program to discuss the viral spread of the words falsely attributed to her.

I just did my post leaving the house nasal rinse and cpc mouthwash gargle but I was a bit uncoordinated, had a bit of a cough, and got minty mouthwash in my eye?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! No covid in my left eye I guess? 😭😅

Remember when several Māori Party MPs got suspended without pay for a few weeks as punishment for doing a haka? Surely Winston Peters will get a similar punishment for his racist tirade, right? Right? #nzpol

I am sorry to all the honest fic writers out there but from now on I am going to have to prioritise fic that has been beta'd. I feel *sick* that I fell for something written by a machine, and I put a lot of weight on stuff written in community.

Just out⬇️ Incl. “The Inquiry found that New Zealand’s initial response to COVID-19 was balanced and appropriate, and that New Zealand broadly did well responding to the pandemic. The report also highlighted the process for approving COVID-19 vaccines and monitoring safety was robust and effective.”
